Printers are everywhere we look, at work, home, school, and businesses. Now this will mainly revolve around the use of home printers as those are usually the ones that we are familiar with the usage cost (buying paper, ink, etc.). As with all products, you get what you pay for, and when looking at printers it is no different, you will notice different dpi and ppm rates, print quality, and even things like resource consumption. A lower upfront cost printer generally comes with higher "operating" costs as the ink cartridges are usually as expensive as the initial unit while not seeming to get its money's worth of use, running out faster than other higher upfront cost printers made more efficiently. While paper consumption may remain somewhat equal as that is determined more by the user, the monochrome truth here is that when buying a printer, it can benefit to pay more upfront for a better printer and save on resource consumption than to save money now and spend as much if not more consistently on supplies.
This assignment was enjoyable as it prompted me to independently research topics and learn more about them. I could see myself doing this more outside of this class to continue to add to my own knowledge as well as try and share it with others. I think blogging is a solid skill for a potential employee; it could showcase to employers your knowledge of subject matters and see how you deliver information and research the topics. Blogging was not helpful in my current line of work as I am not in the tech field.
I hope you all have enjoyed the last 10 weeks of blogging and who knows, this may not truly be the end of blogging for me.
